Job Description:
Chief Architect opportunity supporting a large DoD/Federal program. We’re looking for a senior architect (5+ years) who can establish and govern enterprise/system/solution architecture across heterogeneous and multi-cloud/hybrid environments, and apply DoDAF (or equivalent) to ensure architecture governance and traceability. An active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required, and certifications such as CISSP and/or professional-level AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform are a plus.
Key responsibilities / focus areas:
· Lead enterprise architecture strategy and governance across multi-cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
· Apply DoDAF/Federal architecture frameworks to drive governance, traceability, and standards alignment
· Advise/lead architecture review boards / technical review boards and manage technical decision forums
· Align security, data, and platform standards across federated environments
· Support data/analytics/AI and platform modernization efforts in an architectural leadership capacity
· Engage with industry partners, vendors, and open-source communities to inform architectural decisions
