IT Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is partnering with a client in Salt Lake City, UT to hire an experienced IT Analyst for a one-year project supporting critical technology initiatives within the Utah criminal justice ecosystem. This role requires a local candidate who can work onsite as needed and collaborate closely with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Salesforce Architecture & Solutioning (30%): Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions, providing architectural guidance and clear strategic communication to stakeholders
* Domain Expertise in Criminal Justice Systems (30%): Contribute expertise in criminal justice technology, supporting systems such as Courts, Public Safety, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Parole - Boards, and Criminal Justice Commissions
* Cost & Effort Analysis (20%): Support estimation processes, evaluate solution approaches, and deliver cost-conscious recommendations aligned with project goals
* API Integration, Security & ServiceNow Development (15%): Develop and secure REST/SOAP APIs, integrate systems across the enterprise, and configure/customize ServiceNow (workflows, business rules, integrations, platform components)

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of hands-on developer-level experience in Salesforce, including design and development of enterprise Salesforce solutions
* Strong experience with Java and JavaScript
* Direct background developing production systems within criminal justice domains, including experience handling criminal justice data or justice information exchanges
* Proven ability to design, secure, develop, and maintain APIs (REST and/or SOAP) and integrate them with enterprise systems
* Extensive ServiceNow development experience, including custom workflows, business rules, integrations, and platform configuration
* Solid understanding of software development security best practices and demonstrated experience building systems compliant with CJIS security, privacy, and data-protection requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
