RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce Developer in Murray, UT.

Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer to support and enhance a mission-critical Salesforce platform. This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension and possible conversion to a full-time role, the intent is to bring in someone who can build deep system knowledge and provide lasting value.

The long-term goal is to have a developer who can quickly learn the existing environment, collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, and evolve into the technical lead for Salesforce development efforts.

This role focuses on hands-on Salesforce development while partnering with project leadership and an existing vendor-supported team. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can ramp up quickly, take ownership of complex codebases, and help shape development standards and best practices.

The Salesforce platform supports physician data management and a provider-facing portal, requiring strong attention to data accuracy, performance, and maintainability. Over time, this role will influence architectural decisions and serve as a trusted technical resource for Salesforce development.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and metadata configurations
* Support and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud functionality
* Build and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs
* Collaborate with QA, product, and release teams to support reliable deployments and releases
* Write, maintain, and improve Apex tests to ensure code quality and platform stability
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable fixes
* Contribute to CI/CD processes and version control workflows using Copado, GitHub, and Salesforce DX

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
* Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Health Cloud
* Advanced proficiency with Apex, Lightning (Aura/LWC), and Salesforce metadata
* Experience integrating Salesforce with internal and third-party systems via APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft)
* Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling for Salesforce (Copado, GitHub)
* Experience with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and source-driven development
* Strong understanding of Apex testing frameworks and automated testing practices
* Familiarity with Selenium and code quality tools such as PMD
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
* Salesforce Developer or Administrator certifications
* Copado experience or certification
* Prior experience acting as a technical lead or senior developer on Salesforce initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
