Summary

Job Title: Network Model Analyst
Location: Hybrid/Onsite 3 days a week, required Monday & Tuesday
JOB SUMMARY

Processes Network Operations Model Change Request (NOMCR), Collaborative Action Model Request (CAMR), Resource Services Change Request (RSCR)and develop graphical representations of these Change Requests in the EMS. Applies skills, knowledge and work experience to conduct the NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR process in order to ensure an accurate and up-to-date Network Operations Model. Coordinates the NOMCRs, CAMRs, RSCRs, and one-line displays within the Network Model Group and other departments. Coordinates day to day model and one-line creation schedule. Creates and maintains the EMS one-line displays.

  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
    • Contributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed.

      ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

    • Analyzes submitted NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR data and provides rapid and effective response to customer requests, both internal and external
    • Coordinates NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR process flow internal and external
    • Updates Production and Future one-line diagrams as required by the Protocols
    • Facilitates/resolves Market Participant model data issues
    • Attend, observes, and represents Network Model Coordination at NDSWG meetings and other meetings held
    • Works with generation resources external on RSCR submissions and GenMaps for EPS metering purposes
    • Works closely with System Operations, System Operations Support, Market Operating Services Support, Client Services, Metering and other internal departments regarding models, onelines, and model data
    • Creates GenMap packages and coordinating it with the Generation Resource
    • Creates and utilizes data mining mechanisms and makes update requests for improvements

EXPERIENCE

  • Requires minimum 3 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements

    EDUCATION

  • Associate's Degree : Business, Computer Science or related field (Required)
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
