IT Solutions Engineer II – QA

The Senior QA Analyst will support enterprise systems used in manufacturing, warehousing, and product supply environments. The role focuses on validating API integrations, data workflows, and operational systems that enable end‐to‐end supply chain processes.

Success in this role requires:

• Strong SQL capabilities
• API and data validation testing experience
• Ability to design and execute both manual and automated tests
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments

The position collaborates closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and low‐code platform teams. Low‐code experience is helpful but not required; training can be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute SQL-based tests for complex manufacturing and supply‐chain datasets
• Perform API testing, including request/response validation and system‐to‐system integration checks
• Create manual and automated test scripts for applications supporting manufacturing and warehousing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies—grooming, planning, daily standups
• Document test scenarios, expected outcomes, and QA processes
• Support or enhance test automation workflows, including low‐code aligned automation where relevant
• Conduct root‐cause analysis and partner with technical teams to address defects
• Ensure quality throughout the SDLC and contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards
• Maintain a proactive, collaborative, and solution‐oriented approach

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Required

• 3–5 years' experience in a technical QA or software testing role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries
• 3+ years of API testing experience using tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar
• Hands-on database testing, source‐to‐target validation, or ETL validation
• Experience designing and executing automated or semi‐automated test scripts
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‐solving skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to low-code development or test automation tools (e.g., Power Platform, UiPath, Salesforce)
• Experience with supply chain, manufacturing, or warehousing technology systems
• Experience with CI/CD‐integrated testing workflows
• Familiarity with automated data validation tools

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of technical QA or software testing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with:
  • API testing tools (Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.)
  • Automated data validation tools (QuerySurge, RightData, etc.)
  • Low-code development or test automation frameworks
  • CI/CD‐aligned test execution

Work Environment

Office‐based hybrid environment, with frequent collaboration with cross‐functional teams supporting manufacturing, warehousing, and supply‐chain operations.
