IT Trainer

Role Overview
The client is seeking an Application Trainer to deliver end-user training for an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring successful adoption and user proficiency. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering training programs while collaborating with IT, healthcare teams, and vendors in a dynamic implementation environment. The client wants the candidates to be within the 100 miles radius of Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for applications
Develop and maintain training materials including user guides, videos, and e-learning modules
Customize training content based on user roles and workflows
Conduct training needs assessments and recommend learning strategies
Support system rollouts, upgrades, and changes with targeted training
Provide hands-on demonstrations and facilitate interactive sessions
Evaluate training effectiveness and improve content based on feedback
Act as SME on application functionality and workflows
Collaborate with IT, business, and vendor teams for training alignment
Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion metrics
