Summary

We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead a highly visible banking business operations transformation program. This strategic role involves understanding the business vision, driving technology direction, defining enterprise architecture, creating technical specifications, and ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.

 

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, and guide the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and future-ready enterprise solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, communicate, and govern enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and best practices.

  • Design scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing enterprise systems.

  • Lead architecture strategy for CRM and BPM platforms and their integrations with internal and external applications.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and development teams.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into future-state architecture solutions.

  • Partner with technology teams to align and influence target-state architecture and solution design.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to support business transformation initiatives.

  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for solution implementation.

  • Define integration strategies and ensure seamless connectivity across enterprise platforms and applications.

  • Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns, AI capabilities, and enterprise technology standards.

  • Participate in hands-on architecture activities including code reviews, debugging, solution validation, and technical problem resolution.

  • Ensure architecture decisions align with business goals, security standards, scalability requirements, and operational objectives.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in an Architecture role.

  • Minimum 2+ years handson experience with architecting and developing AI solutions in both AI assisted and Agentic AI models.

  • Strong experience in designing and building CRM and BPM systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks is a plus.

  • Hands-on architect capable of writing / debugging code.

  • Strong collaboration skills - requires working with Client Business teams to understand requirements and define future state architecture and collaborate with Client Technology teams and align and influence target state solutions.
