JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects. This role is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The position also supports the Project Management Office (PMO) by maintaining documentation, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
Estimate required resources and manage them effectively.
Lead construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Develop budgets and monitor costs to ensure financial control.
Prepare project charters, business cases, and detailed project plans.
Create and manage comprehensive project schedules in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the PMO and stakeholders.
Manage changes in scope, timeline, and budget through structured change control processes.
Oversee contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Apply industry best practices and standards throughout project execution.
Identify opportunities to improve construction processes while maintaining compliance.
Prepare project closeout documentation and capture lessons learned.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track project performance against established plans.
Highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Provide consistent reporting to the PMO and leadership.
PMO Support
Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and master project lists.
Develop and update PMO templates and tools.
Prepare presentations and materials for leadership reviews and decision-making.
Support internal administrative processes such as invoice submissions, budget requests, purchase orders, and related documentation.
Contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency and project governance practices.
Coordination & Communication
Facilitate clear communication among project teams and stakeholders.
Maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, CAD, and Bluebeam.
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Strong multitasking, analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and change.
