DevOps Engineer with Terraform

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Terraform in Greenwood Village, CO.

We're looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across our software delivery lifecycle. This role is critical to building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating containerized workloads, and optimizing cloud infrastructure in AWS. Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer with Terraform will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery
* Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance across environments
* Leverage Helm to manage Kubernetes deployments and configurations
* Write and maintain YAML configurations for Kubernetes, Jenkins, and other automation tools
* Administer and optimize Jenkins for build automation and deployment workflows
* Provision, monitor, and manage infrastructure and services in AWS, ensuring secure and cost-effective operations
* Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning and configuration
* As a DevOps Engineer with Terraform, you will write and maintain automation scripts and tooling using Python
* Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline the release process and improve system reliability
* Own and drive best practices around infrastructure-as-code, observability, and incident response

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineer role
* Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins
* Strong experience provisioning and managing AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
* Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code in production environments
* Strong scripting experience with Python for automation, tooling, or pipeline development
* Experience with Git and shell scripting
* Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes, including production-grade cluster management and troubleshooting
* Strong command of Helm for templating and managing Kubernetes deployments
* Proficiency in writing and debugging YAML configurations

Preferred Skills:
* Experience with other CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker
* Knowledge of container security best practices and runtime monitoring
* Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
* Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
