Lead React Native Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and technical strategy across various client engagements, ensuring efficient system design and deployment.
• Develop high-quality cross-platform mobile applications that deliver native-quality experiences on both iOS and Android.
• Bridge design and development by collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and translating design intents into responsive applications.
• Provide mentorship to a team of developers, fostering growth through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Integrate native modules and APIs, enhancing app capabilities touching hardware components such as BLE and biometrics.
• Advise clients on technical solutions for mobile needs, transforming detailed business requirements into effective mobile strategies.
• Contribute to the improvement of mobile practices, sharing frameworks, tools, and open-source projects with the wider community.

Skills

• Extensive mobile development experience with a focus on React Native and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong expertise in mobile architecture and implementation using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Experience leading multi-team mobile projects, with a deep understanding of both iOS and Android environments.
• Proficiency in Swift/Kotlin for native module development to extend app capabilities beyond the JavaScript layer.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaborative spirit with a commitment to mentoring and team leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Expo workflows and strategies for handling OTA updates.
• Knowledge of agentic AI patterns to enhance mobile applications with intelligent capabilities.
• Familiarity with Figma-to-code tools for seamless design and development integration.
• Background in consulting environments that prioritize adaptability and rapid delivery.
• Open-source contributions or speaking engagement in developer communities.
