Agentic AI Lead (100% Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI agents that can reason, plan, execute tasks, and collaborate across enterprise workflows. This role combines leadership, AI architecture, product thinking, and hands-on technical expertise to build scalable agentic systems powered by large language models (LLMs), autonomous workflows, and multi-agent frameworks.
As an Agentic AI Lead, you will define the technical vision, lead a team of AI engineers, and work closely with business stakeholders to transform complex business processes into intelligent autonomous solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the organization's Agentic AI roadmap.
- Lead and mentor AI engineers, ML engineers, and prompt engineers.
- Establish best practices for AI governance, safety, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify high-value AI automation opportunities.
Agentic AI Development
- Design and implement autonomous AI agents capable of:
- Reasoning and decision-making
- Multi-step planning and execution
- Tool usage and API orchestration
- Memory management and retrieval
- Multi-agent collaboration
- Develop AI workflows using modern agent frameworks.
- Build scalable agent architectures for enterprise use cases.
LLM & AI Engineering
- Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize LLM-based systems.
- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Integrate vector databases, knowledge graphs, and enterprise data sources.
- Develop prompt engineering and AI orchestration strategies.
Architecture & Deployment
- Design production-grade AI infrastructure.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and evaluation pipelines for AI agents.
- Ensure reliability, security, scalability, and compliance.
- Optimize latency, performance, and operational costs.
Stakeholder Management
- Translate business requirements into AI solutions.
- Present technical strategies and project outcomes to leadership.
- Drive AI adoption across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems.
- 2+ years building or leading AI agent/LLM solutions.
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building enterprise AI copilots and autonomous agents.
- Experience with model fine-tuning and open-source LLMs.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to MLOps and LLMOps practices.
- Experience managing distributed remote teams.
