Job Title: PSA Engineer Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS)

Location: Remote
Industry: Power & Utilities

Key Responsibilities

Support, configure, and optimize EMS platforms (GE PowerOn, XA21, eTerra, or similar)
Work on Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) including model validation and scenario creation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live production systems
Perform code reviews, testing, and deployment of patches and fixes
Validate and maintain power system models (load flow, state estimator, etc.)
Integrate and manage communication between systems using protocols like ICCP, DNP3, IEC, Modbus
Analyze logs, debug issues, and ensure system reliability

Required Skills

5 8 years of experience in EMS / Power System Applications
Hands-on experience with DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator)
Strong knowledge of EMS platforms (GE, Siemens, ABB, OSI, Schneider, etc.)
Experience with power system functions (Power Flow, State Estimator, A Contingency Analysis)
Familiarity with SCADA systems, RTU, IED
Knowledge of communication protocols (ICCP, DNP3, IEC 60870, Modbus)
Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows environments
Experience with SQL, Shell scripting, or C/C++
