Warehouse Associate - Fernley, NV - MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXP

Equipment operated at AGRU America may include forklifts with lifting capacities ranging from 5,000 lbs. to 45,000 lbs., JLG/Skylift aerial work platforms, and specialized material-handling equipment used to move oversized pipe and liner rolls.

Responsibilities
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
Safely operate forklifts ranging from 5,000 lbs. to 45,000 lbs., depending on plant assignment.
Move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse and storage yard.
Load flatbeds, vans, and other transport vehicles in accordance with shipping requirements.
Move and position liner rolls up to 23 feet long, 4 feet in diameter, and 5,000 lbs., and/or pipe products up to 55 feet long and 11-12 feet in diameter.
Generate Bills of Lading, shipping documents, and other freight paperwork.
Utilize scanners, computers, and warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments.
Communicate with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments via phone and email.
Complete daily forklift inspections, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications
High School diploma / GED, required.
Forklift operating experience required; experience with 5,000 lb to 45,000 lb capacity forklifts preferred.
Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
Experience handling oversized loads, pipe, or liner rolls preferred.
JLG/Skylift experience preferred.
Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and shipping software.
Experience preparing Bills of Lading and shipping paperwork preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment (indoor and outdoor).
Ability to multitask, work independently, work effectively with others, and excellent time management skills.

After you have worked for Agru America for 90 days, you will begin accruing vacation at a rate of 1.54 hours per week until you reach 5 years of full time service. The accrual rate increases at 5 years of service, and 10 years of service.
