Role Summary
The Client Aloha POS Support Specialist is responsible for providing Level 2 technical support for Client Aloha Point of Sale (POS) solutions across Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Full-Service Restaurants (FSR), and retail locations. The individual will ensure business continuity by maintaining POS availability, resolving incidents, supporting restaurant technology platforms, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
POS Application Support
- Support Client Aloha POS software, terminals, and restaurant technology platforms.
- Troubleshoot order processing, pricing, promotions, discounts, and transaction failures.
- Support End-of-Day (EOD) processing and sales reporting issues.
- Resolve menu configuration, item availability, and store setup issues.
Restaurant Technology Support
- Support BOH (Back of House), KDS (Kitchen Display Systems), kiosks, payment devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose interface issues between Aloha POS and payment processors.
- Monitor restaurant systems for availability and performance.
- Support restaurant technology upgrades, rollouts, and lifecycle management activities
