Position: Orca Analyst - India

Contract- 5+ Months

Location: Remote role

Role Overview

The Orca Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and escalating security alerts within the Orca platform. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Alert Review: Conduct daily reviews of new alerts in Orca tied to findings on new resources. Research and identify the correct owner, open tickets, and assign them via Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ticket Follow-up: Perform bi-weekly email communications with teams to follow up on tickets that are not progressing.
• Exception Handling: Process exception requests from teams and escalate to the cloud security team when necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with resource owners, IT operations, and cloud security teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of alerts, tickets, and exception requests for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (Orca preferred).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
