Steer the deployment of high-capacity data pipelines and integration structures to support modern analytics and massive-scale data warehousing.
Champion organizational excellence by instituting rigorous data standards, governance protocols, and architectural best practices.
Synthesize market intelligence to select and implement premier cloud platforms and emerging data tools that maximize system reliability and speed.
Unify efforts across infrastructure, cloud, and engineering departments to ensure seamless cross-platform data compatibility and design integrity.
Regulate data health by partnering with security teams to enforce strict metadata management, lineage transparency, and master data quality.
Translate executive-level business needs into actionable, scalable technical frameworks that support analysts and engineers alike.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, providing expert technical guidance to ensure all builds adhere to the master architectural vision.
Refine system performance and cost-efficiency through proactive audits, refactoring, and optimization of cloud and on-premise environments.
What You Bring
Hybrid Expertise: A powerful blend of high-level architectural strategy and hands-on programming proficiency.
Development Pedigree: At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a clear career trajectory into technical leadership.
Integration Mastery: Profound knowledge of enterprise-level data movement, transformation methodologies, and complex integration patterns.
Event-Driven Fluency: Extensive experience with streaming technologies (Kafka preferred) and the ability to navigate the nuances of synchronous vs. asynchronous system designs.
Modern Lakehouse Knowledge: A proven track record of constructing pipelines that ingest diverse internal and external data into contemporary lake architectures.
Strategic Leadership: The ability to mentor engineering teams, articulate technical trade-offs, and drive collective consensus on design decisions.
Cloud & Database Prowess: Deep familiarity with the Azure ecosystem and expert-level command of both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
Advanced Toolkit: Experience with premier platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, or BigQuery, alongside an understanding of AI/ML feature store architectures.
Communication Excellence: The capability to distill intricate technical jargon into compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications: Active Azure Data Engineer/Architect certifications and a professional background in C# .NET development.
