AWS Solution Architect

Job Summary

 We are looking for a Senior AWS Solutions Architect with 10+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions and lead a large-scale modernization initiative involving migration of mission-critical Sybase ASE transactional systems to PostgreSQL on AWS NextGen Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise AWS cloud solutions.

Lead end-to-end architecture, designing and building AWS environments for migration to host the Sybase ASE/IQ to PostgreSQL Database.

Define cloud adoption strategies, target-state architectures, and migration of roadmaps.

Design scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient AWS environments to implement AWS NextGen Cloud solutions that support high-volume OLTP workloads.

Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Define security, governance, and compliance standards.

Build and support CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Optimize cloud performance, availability, and costs.

Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to engineering teams and stakeholders.

Define migration patterns including schema conversion, data migration, CDC replication, cutover, and rollback strategies.

Required Skills

5+ years in AWS architecture.

Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS, Glue, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)

Expertise in Infrastructure as a code ( Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools. Github ,Jenkins

Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Migration Strategy

Knowledge of cloud security Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection & Monitoring, networking, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Scripting/programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

AWS Security (AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, IAM, CrowdStrike Falcon EDR/XDR, Splunk Enterprise Security (SIEM), Splunk SOAR, Imperva WAF)
