Position No.1: Oracle EBS R12 Application DBA Consultant Single ship only
Job Description:
Project Overview - Oracle EBS Upgrade from 12.2.6 to 12.2.15.
Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (EBS) Application DBA consultant with knowledge and experience in EBS Application Upgrade efforts Cloning, Patching, tuning, and changes deployment.
Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen (No dual citizenship), valid US Passport or US Birth Certificate and DL with Real ID.
• Candidate must be located within the United States.
• Experienced one or two Oracle EBS 12.2.14 or 12.2.15 Upgrades - end-to-end implementations.
• Experience in supporting full-life cycle implementation / upgrade.
• 4 to 6 years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA.
• Hands-on Issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis, recommend solutions to complex issues.
• Experience in EBS application upgrade efforts Cloning, Patching, and Changes deployment.
• Good understanding of patching, performance tuning, performance monitoring, maintenance activities
• Manage Oracle SRs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on PL/SQL tool.
• Experience testing integrations with external and internal systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work closely with business users.

Responsibilities

• Understand & Document the Current Landscape
  • Dive into the existing systems: Identify what applications or processes are running today.
  • Finalize upgrade approach.
  • Create system maps, inventories, and documentation for easy reference by the team.
• Participating in Technical Sessions & Deliver Upgrades (DEV1, DEV2, SIT, UAT)
  • Execute multiple iterations of upgrade.
  • Identify, sequence and execute patches.
  • Raise Oracle SR regarding patches. Work with oracle to resolve any patch issues.
  • Catalogue customizations, assess technical impact, remediate change impact to forms, reports, interfaces, workflows.
• Documentation & Signoff Preparation
  • Assist and refine technical documents: specs, validation scripts, risk assessments.
• Scripts for Data Load & Validation
  • Support Test scripts development and validation; peer review to catch issues early.
• SIT & UAT Support
  • Be on standby to troubleshoot issues during testing phases.
  • Cutover & Hypercare Support
  • Take active part in final cutover, ensuring all data and interfaces move smoothly.
  • Proactive during hypercare (immediate post go-live phase), respond fast to user issues.
