Summary

Job Title: Business Analyst (CBAP / PMI-PBA Certified)

Location: Albany, NY -Onsite

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

  • Experience working on Business Requirements projects as a Lead Business Analyst, applying structured strategies to gather, analyze, and document business process requirements for new applications
  • Experience utilizing industry-recognized business process management methodologies, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development, gap analysis, and UML to assess and redesign business processes
  • Proven experience leading efforts to analyze current-state operations and design optimized future-state processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and developing test cases and test plans to validate that user and system requirements are successfully met
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and system functionality during testing phases
  • Active certification required: IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
  • Experience in internal and external stakeholder communication, including conducting workshops, facilitating discussions, and developing presentations to support business process transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive the rethinking and reengineering of core business processes
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable deliverables
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams, product owners, and leadership
