Payrate: $45-$55
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Support Manager to lead daily operations in an automotive prototype, pilot, or vehicle launch environment. This role is responsible for coordinating technicians, tracking production performance, resolving floor issues, and ensuring vehicles are launch-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations across multiple workstreams.
- Assign and oversee technician tasks and resources.
- Monitor throughput, build schedules, and performance metrics.
- Resolve production floor issues and manage escalations.
- Track defect resolution and quality closure activities.
- Provide status updates and reporting to customer leadership.
Requirements:
- 5 6 years of leadership experience in automotive prototype, pilot, or launch operations.
- Experience managing technicians and production floor activities.
- Knowledge of vehicle commissioning, launch readiness, and quality processes.
- Strong client-facing communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EVs or Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
- Background with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or root-cause analysis training.
