Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Generative AI solution delivery, Python engineering, and data systems integration and a proven ability to design, implement, and govern production-grade AI applications that comply with enterprise model risk standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Generative AI applications using LLMs and modern orchestration frameworks.
- Develop robust Python services and APIs with FastAPI and WebSockets for scalable integration.
- Implement retrieval, embeddings, and evaluation pipelines for quality, relevance, and safety.
- Integrate enterprise data stores such as Redis and MongoDB for performant AI features.
- Author model documentation and deliver controls to meet Model Risk Management and Governance guidelines.
- Design monitoring, evaluation, and performance controls for production AI systems.
- Collaborate with frontend teams; contribute to Angular-based UI integration when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience executing end-to-end Generative AI projects.
- Experience with Large Language Models such as GPT or LLaMA.
- Skills-based orchestration with MCP and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph.
- LLM development frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Embedding models such as all-MiniLM-L6-v2 or Nomic embeddings.
- Evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS, LangSmith, or Phoenix/Arize.
- REST APIs, FastAPI, and WebSockets proficiency.
- Experience with enterprise data stores including Redis and MongoDB.
- Strong Python programming expertise and software engineering practices.
- Hands-on Model Risk Management and Model Governance experience, including compliant delivery and formal documentation.
Preferred Skills:
- Frontend experience with Angular.
- Distributed and big data technologies such as Slurm, Hadoop/Hive, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Neo4j.
- Machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in data science, mathematics, or a quantitative discipline.
