INTERFACE ENGINEER :: REMOTE :: HL7 - Remote

The Interface Engineer will deliver exceptional customer service, address issues promptly, and develop innovative solutions during the implementation process. This role involves configuring and testing interfaces and applications, with daily interaction with external customers, Development, QA, Support staff and peers.

The Interface engineer will define technical interface specifications and workflows based on the requirements of both customers and vendors, determine solution needs, install and troubleshoot integrations, and collaborate with business units to analyze requirements and integrate new technology.

Knowledge, Skill, Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor s degree or related relevant application experience.
• Years of experience: 2+

Essential Skills & Abilities:

• 2 Years HL7 experience minimum (building and testing Interfaces with clients )
• Ability to solve complex problems quickly.
• Networking, O/S with the ability to debug problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with core team members and customers daily.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience with Microsoft OS, SQL, knowledge of TCP/IP security
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word
• Knowledge of HL7 standards (HL7 terminology such as message types, trigger events, role of each segment, components/subcomponents) and protocol for electronic data exchange within healthcare environments

Preferred Skills:

• XML or Java Script
• SQL Query Writing and Data Integrity Checks.
• Advanced SQL Query Writing and Data Integrity Checks.
• Ability to write and update complex queries
• TLS and mTLS Communications.
• EMR knowledge Cerner, EPIC, McKesson etc.
• PAC S Knowledge Fuji, Agfa, Phillips etc.
• PowerScribe product knowledge
