SAP BASIS Admin

Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in leading architecture design and implementation.  Must have experience with multiple SAP implementation lifecycles and production SAP infrastructure operations.  Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of SAP S/4, SAP ECC system on Oracle Database. SAP HANA DBA experience.  Experience with SAP RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and BPiM (Business Process/Interface Monitoring) tools a plus. Candidates should also have experience working with 3^rd party ‘bolt-on’ applications including but not limited to Vendavo, Vertex, and Redwood/CPS.

1. Primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment.
2. Will work closely with infrastructure teams (servers, network, etc) to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
3. Interface with the Basis team to effectively manage the workload.
4. Actively manage the performance of the SAP landscape, including capacity planning and tuning.
5. Coordinate with other Basis product leads to ensure software consistency across the SAP landscape.
6. Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all SAP related changes.
7. Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of SAP technology.
8. Works with internal and external customers to understand their requirements in order to form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.
9. Provide input on, and support new projects affecting the SAP environments.
