SAP BRIM-FICA Functional Consultant

We are seeking a high-performing SAP BRIM Functional Consultant specializing in FI-CA to lead functional design, configuration, and testing within a major enterprise program. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who can navigate complex payment processes and integration landscapes independently.

Work Arrangement: Remote (USA Based)

Location: Dauphin County, PA (Occasional travel required)

Core Skills You'll Need

• SAP S/4HANA Expertise: At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation is required.
• FI-CA Mastery (8+ Years Preferred): Deep knowledge of payments, dunning, collections, interest, and open item management.
• BRIM Capabilities: 3+ years of experience in Convergent Invoicing (CI) and integration with the General Ledger (GL).
• Technical Frameworks: Proven experience with BRFplus, Event Framework, and FI-CA enhancements.
• Tools: Proficient with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar ALM tools for tracking deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Configure: Deliver functional designs for business partner setup, account determination, and CI/GL integration.
• Lead Testing: Design test scenarios, review scripts, and resolve defects across the BRIM/FICA landscape.
• Data & Cutover: Support data mapping, translation rules, and open item conversion for go-live readiness.
• Collaborate: Work closely with technical teams on Business Rule Framework (BRF) and external payment provider integrations.

Logistics & Requirements

• Travel: Must be available for onsite meetings in Middletown, PA for 1 week per month and for a 1-day orientation.
• Proximity: Ability to reach the PA work location within 3 hours in case of an emergency is preferred.
• Compliance: Successful candidates must pass a National Criminal Background Check and a PA ePATCH check.
• Engagement: Must be comfortable using a camera during all virtual meetings and maintaining a professional appearance.

Education & Certification

• Degree: Bachelor's in Business Management or Information Systems.
• Certification: SAP S/4HANA BRIM certifications (BR230/BR234) are highly desired.
