Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to support the Enterprise Capital Management Technology team within Corporate Treasury. The role will contribute to a greenfield technology transformation focused on building capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics to replace legacy treasury applications and support critical regulatory programs including Basel IV and FRTB.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and functional stakeholders to elicit and document requirements for capital management solutions.
- Design and validate techno-functional solutions for data ingestion, rules engines, and analytics components.
- Analyze and model data with SQL on platforms such as Oracle Exadata to support reporting and calculations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using Python, Java, or .NET to implement scalable services and integrations.
- Define test cases, validate results, and ensure delivery quality for regulatory use cases including Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Capital calculations.
- Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities across processes and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in a delivery-focused techno-functional role.
- Proficiency in SQL with experience on enterprise databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
- Programming experience with Python or Java/.NET for solution design and collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and self-direction.
- Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations.
- Knowledge of regulations in Capital Markets such as Basel, CRR, and CRD IV.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy.
- Knowledge of Big Data architectures and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technology and business teams.
