IT Support Specialist
Houston, TX | On-site | 6-month contract (with strong potential to extend)
This is a hands-on, front-line IT support role for someone who enjoys being the first call when things don’t work — and the person who sticks with it until they do. You’ll support end users across phone, email, and chat, helping keep day-to-day technology running smoothly and frustration to a minimum.
You’ll troubleshoot a mix of hardware, software, and voice/data issues, knowing when to dig in and when to escalate. Clear communication matters here — you’ll document issues accurately, write clean and useful tickets, and follow problems through to resolution rather than passing them along and forgetting about them.
This role is well-suited for someone who’s comfortable juggling multiple tickets, can explain technical issues in plain English, and takes pride in being reliable and responsive.
Must-haves
3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience
Solid experience working in ticketing systems and documenting technical issues clearly
Broad working knowledge of:
Windows operating systems
Azure and Intune
Microsoft 365
Desktop and laptop hardware
Printers and basic networking
