Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Business Systems Analyst in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze and document current state of systems and business processes
* Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
* Gather, define, and validate business and functional requirements
* Execute QA testing to validate system behavior and business rules
* Support UAT preparation, execution, and defect tracking
* Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and product management
* Translate business needs into system requirements and user stories
* Maintain and update system documentation following standards
* Assist with process mapping, workflows, and data analysis
* Support implementation efforts and post-launch validation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of relevant experience
* Promotes transparency and open communication
* Continuously learns and stays current in area of expertise
* Strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders
* Clear and effective verbal and written communication
* Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools
* Experience with QA testing (web or command line)
* Proficient in SQL including joins and unions
* Basic Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and formulas
* Ability to gather and document functional requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
