Senior Full Stack Enterprise Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Full Stack Enterprise Architect. This position is Contract-to-Hire and hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives
* Drive modernization initiatives across APIs, microservices, integrations, and data platforms
* Build robust, consumer-driven solutions that deliver seamless and engaging user experiences
* Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure architectural decisions support scalability, security, and maintainability
* Establish best practices, design patterns, and architectural standards for development teams
* Ensure systems are designed for high availability, resilience, and optimal performance
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in architecture or principal engineering roles

Deep expertise in modern full-stack development:
* Frontend: React, Next.js
* Backend: Node.js, .NET Core, or Java for building APIs and microservices
* Data and Integration: SQL/NoSQL, event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), and cloud messaging
* Cloud: Heroku preferred

* Proven experience designing high-performance, cloud-native, microservices-based architectures
* Strong understanding of system performance optimization, caching strategies, and observability practices
* Skilled in integration design and API strategy
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* Demonstrated success balancing architectural rigor with fast delivery timelines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
