Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD, and enterprise application testing. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Development, and Business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and End-to-End testing.
• Develop automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform SQL and backend data validation.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers on resolutions.
• Review business requirements and technical designs for testability.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
• Drive release readiness, quality metrics, and continuous process improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Required Skills

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of Software QA experience.
• Strong Automation Testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• API Testing using Postman.
• SQL and backend validation.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Jira and defect management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and QA best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) experience (Highly Preferred).
• Wealth Management or Asset Management experience (Preferred).
• Salesforce or Workday testing.
• Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Accessibility and Visual Testing.
• Experience leading QA teams or mentoring engineers.
