Good Morning,
We have an urgent position for the below mentioned requirement.
Role: Systems Analyst – Consultant --
Duration: 12 months + likely extension
Location: Columbia, SC — hybrid (3 in / 2 remote)
Candidate must be SC resident or willing to relocate at own expense
Job Description:
- COBOL proficiency (this is a legacy mainframe environment — non-negotiable)
- 5+ years on healthcare Mainframe systems (payer-side, as a technical analyst)
- 3+ years with EDI transactions and managing companion guides
- 3+ years Medicaid/healthcare experience — specifically claims and provider operations
- Hands-on experience with Medicaid eligibility/enrollment systems
- Working knowledge of MMIS capabilities
- MMIS SME (this overlaps with required — if they have it, lead with it)
- SAS, Excel, data visualization/stats tools
- Clear, clean statoperational reporting experience
