Opportunity

The Digital Transformation Leader (DTL) plays a critical role in this evolution driving digital innovation across the organization to increase customer fulfillment through streamlined business process, improved recruiter productivity, and overall organizational performance.

This senior leader will be a key member of the Leadership Team, working closely with the President, CTO, and other senior leaders to align digital strategies with business goals and accelerate growth.

The first year of the role will be largely focused on a business-critical ATS implementation, including both the technical implementation and the change management needed to support a successful change across the entire organization. There is a recently made the decision to move from a home-grown proprietary ATS to the industry-leading Bullhorn One solution. The DTL will serve as the internal program leader during implementation, working closely with the implementation partner to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Digital Transformation: Identify, evaluate, and deploy technologies that enhance business operations, client fulfillment, and efficiency.
  • Program Leadership: Serve as the internal program lead for the Bullhorn One ATS implementation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Coordinate closely with the selected Implementation Partner (Newbury Partners), various third-party vendor partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Drive adoption and cultural alignment during the BullhornOne implementation and other system and tooling transitions.
  • Post-Implementation Optimization: Manage and optimize the full digital environment including Bullhorn One and integrated tools monitoring system performance, user experience, and ROI.
  • Innovation & AI Integration: Introduce and scale technology-enabled recruiting and AI-driven innovations to increase production and expand margins.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with enterprise-level initiatives (e.g., AI, master data management, business intelligence).
  • Performance Impact: Deliver an expected 20% margin improvement over 3 years through efficiency and automation.
  • Leadership & Influence: Provide executive and board-level insights on emerging technologies and digital investments.
  • Culture & Representation: Champion the mission and values internally and externally, embodying integrity, innovation, and collaboration.

Experience & Attributes

  • Deep expertise in healthcare recruiting and contingent staffing, with proven understanding of market dynamics.
  • Track record leading large-scale digital transformation and change management programs.
  • Strong background in technology enablement, systems integration, and enterprise program management.
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who balances vision with execution.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; comfortable engaging with board and C-suite leaders.
  • Adept at building partnerships internally, externally, and with key technology providers.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and action-oriented with a bias toward outcomes.
  • Passionate about company s mission to positively impact patient outcomes through workforce excellence.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of operational and project management experience in recruiting and staffing, ideally in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strategic and hands-on leader able to align teams, systems, and processes.
  • Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Travel: 20 40%.
