Job Summary:

We''re looking for a Data Engineer with strong Python and Azure skills to build scalable data pipelines, automate workflows, and support analytics platforms. You''ll work on ingesting, transforming, and delivering data for BI, analytics, and ML use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory
Build and manage data solutions on Azure: Data Lake Gen2, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database
Ingest data from APIs, databases, SaaS apps, and on-prem sources into Azure Data Lake
Write optimized PySpark/Spark SQL jobs for large-scale data transformation
Implement data modeling: star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, partitioning strategies
Automate data workflows with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Databricks Jobs
Monitor pipeline performance, data quality, and error handling
Manage access control, security, and governance using Azure RBAC, Key Vault, Purview
Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and BI teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets
Document data flows, lineage, and technical specs

Required Skills:

10+ years data engineering experience with 2+ years on Azure
Strong Python skills for data processing, automation, and API integration
Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL
Solid SQL and PySpark/Spark SQL experience
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience with CI/CD for data using Git, DevOps, Terraform
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and file formats: Parquet, Delta, CSV
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate DP-203Experience with Kafka/Event Hubs, Stream Analytics for real-time processing
Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other orchestration tools on Azure
Exposure to ML pipelines and MLOps on Azure ML
Knowledge of data governance and compliance: GDPR, HIPAA
