Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to manage and support datacenter operations for a financial client in Edison, NJ. This role requires strong hands-on experience with VMware environments and networking to ensure reliable infrastructure performance in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day datacenter operations including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and incident management
• Administer VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) including troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimization
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure best practices
• Perform root cause analysis for system incidents and improve system uptime and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for infrastructure support

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in datacenter operations and infrastructure management
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
• Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, and SDN
• Experience working in enterprise or financial services infrastructure environments
