We are seeking a Web Accessibility Analyst to review websites, web applications, and documents for compliance with digital accessibility and web standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WCAG guidelines, accessibility testing tools, and assistive technologies.
Responsibilities
Conduct accessibility reviews of websites, web applications, and documents.
Evaluate compliance with Digital Standards for Websites and Applications.
Perform manual and automated accessibility testing.
Test using screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Review applications for branding and digital standards compliance.
Perform testing across desktop and mobile devices.
Document findings and provide detailed reports.
Present review results to stakeholders and application support teams.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve accessibility review processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
1+ year of experience testing applications for digital accessibility.
1+ year of experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Experience using assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
Preferred Skills
3+ years of digital accessibility testing experience.
WCAG or related accessibility certification.
Previous government experience.
Note:
Candidates must be local to the Lansing, MI area (within 90 miles).
Hybrid work schedule with mandatory onsite attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
