Lead AWS Developer/Architect
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS Developer/Architect to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS using serverless technologies and Python. This role requires a strong technical background in AWS architecture, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise application development.
Candidates with 7+ years of overall development experience and deep expertise in AWS cloud services are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including:
- Lambda
- IAM
- S3
- Aurora
- SQS
- AWS Glue
- CloudWatch
- Lake Formation
- Serverless architecture
- 2+ years of professional Python development experience.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Strong SQL skills with experience in Aurora, Athena, and MySQL.
- Experience developing scalable, enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AWS cloud architectures and leading cloud deployments.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation templates and AWS CLI.
- Knowledge of orchestration and automation within AWS environments.
- Experience participating in EC2 migrations and cloud infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Experience with Angular/AngularJS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
