Job : PDA GIS COTS Specialist / GIS Administrator III

Location : Pennsylvania,PA

The is seeking a GIS COTS Specialist / GIS Administrator III to support and administer enterprise GIS systems. This role will provide architectural guidance, administer GIS platforms, and manage commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ESRI GIS products while ensuring system stability, data integrity, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for PDA GIS systems and guide GIS architectural decisions

• Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain ESRI COTS GIS solutions including:

  • ESRI Field Maps

  • ESRI Survey123

  • ESRI Collector

  • ESRI Operations Dashboard

• Serve as a high-level administrator for GIS systems and GIS data

• Advise and assist in GIS architecture solutioning

• Perform hardware and software installations, testing, relocations, and routine maintenance

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for GIS/CADD hardware and software issues

• Assist with resolving IT helpdesk tickets and maintain problem records

• Coordinate with service and warranty vendors for system repairs and fixes

• Track GIS software versions and notify stakeholders of upgrades and updates

• Maintain inventory of all GIS hardware, software, upgrades, and fixes

• Maintain configuration charts and system documentation

• Manage data backups, data archives, and data recovery

• Monitor system performance, status, and data integrity

• Develop documentation, standards, and operational procedures

• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and develop training materials

• Communicate system status and issues to managers and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience designing, configuring, and administering ESRI COTS products

• Hands-on experience with:

  • ESRI Survey123

  • ESRI Field Maps

  • ESRI Collector

  • ESRI Operations Dashboard

• Minimum 2 years of experience administering an ESRI ArcGIS Online organization

• Proven ability to troubleshoot GIS systems with minimal supervision

• Strong documentation, communication, and training skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise GIS environments

• Experience working with IT helpdesk or ticketing systems

• Strong understanding of GIS data management and system administration
