Job Description (JD):
We are seeking an Epic Integration Engineer to support integration efforts between Epic and a custom application platform for Temple University Health System. The role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining secure data integration workflows using Epic FHIR/HL7/Bridges interfaces.
The engineer will map, transform, and validate Epic clinical and operational data into standardized formats such as FHIR, OMOP, LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10 for downstream product use. Responsibilities also include developing secure API connections via Epic Interconnect and App Orchard/Connection Hub using OAuth2 and SMART on FHIR authentication.
This role requires hands-on experience in Epic integrations, healthcare data standards, and secure API development. The engagement begins with a specific Temple integration project, with potential expansion into a broader program initiative.
