Role Overview
– Design and develop cloud‑native, twelve‑factor applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST.
– Build modern, responsive UIs using Angular or React; strong JavaScript/TypeScript and ES13+ experience required.
– Implement accessible (Section 508‑compliant) web components and high‑performance SPA architectures.
– Develop event‑driven solutions using Kafka and scalable, low‑latency system designs.
– Build and maintain batch applications (JSR‑352) and schedule jobs with Control‑M.
– Develop SOAP and REST services, including WS‑Security and interoperability standards.
– Create data access layers using JPA/Spring Data for DB2 and PostgreSQL.
– Apply DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, OpenShift, AWS deployments.
– Write comprehensive unit, integration, TDD/BDD tests (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
– Document architecture using UML, Confluence, and governance frameworks.
– Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
– Participate in customer design sessions and propose improvements to existing systems.

Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering (Master’s/PhD substitutes for experience).
– 10+ years Java/Spring Boot/Angular/React.
– Strong JEE background and hands‑on technical lead experience.
– Agile project experience.

– High‑throughput, low‑latency system design.
– SPA architecture, responsive UI, cross‑browser compliance.
– AWS cloud‑native deployments with PostgreSQL.
– OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Jira, SonarQube, Fortify.
– Web services (REST/SOAP), security (OAuth2/JWT), microservices.
– Performance tuning, caching, async processing, load balancing.
– Addressing security vulnerabilities and static code analysis findings.
