Summary

Endevor System Administration
Administer and maintain the CA Endevor SCM platform across enterprise mainframe environments.
Responsibilities include:
Configure and maintain Endevor structures including:
• Environments
• Systems
• Subsystems
• Stages

Ensure the correct promotion flow between environments such as:
Development → System Integration Testing → User Acceptance Testing → Production
Maintain environment configurations and ensure alignment with organizational release management policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong experience working with CA Endevor Software Change Manager in a z/OS environment.
• Proficiency with mainframe development technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and Assembler.
• Experience designing and maintaining Endevor processor groups for application builds.
• Strong understanding of mainframe dataset management and library structures.
• Knowledge of enterprise security systems such as RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
• Experience supporting enterprise release management and deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams.
Application Setup and Configuration
Configure Endevor to support multiple enterprise applications and ensure proper lifecycle management for each application.
Responsibilities include:
Create and configure new applications within Endevor environments.
Define application structures including:
• Environment
• System
• Subsystem
• Component types

Configure multiple applications to operate within shared Endevor infrastructure while maintaining logical separation of components and processing rules.
Establish component classifications for various mainframe technologies including:
• COBOL programs
• JCL scripts
• PROCs
• Copybooks
• DB2 modules
• CICS programs
• Assembler modules
• PL/I programs
• Control cards
• Batch utilities
