Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing public accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tax compliance, tax planning, tax research, and client advisory services. This role requires experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, interpreting federal and multi-state tax laws, providing strategic tax planning, and managing client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and Trust tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities.

  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services, including advising clients on the tax implications of business transactions and restructuring.

  • Analyze financial data and prepare tax projections to support informed financial decision-making.

  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries and issues.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax engagements while maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws.

  • Collaborate with internal team members to deliver high-quality tax services and meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of public accounting, tax, or accounting experience.

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.

  • Proven ability to independently prepare and review complex tax returns with minimal supervision.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and financial analysis tools.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master''s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS and Accounting CS.

  • Experience providing tax planning and consulting services to individuals and businesses.

  • Experience preparing tax projections and conducting tax research.

  • Strong client relationship management and advisory experience.
