Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Tech your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
2. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, and providing solutions to keep equipment and infrastructure running smoothly.
3. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
5. Detecting faulty operations, defective material, and reporting those along with any unusual situations to proper supervision.
6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry (aerospace preferred but not required).
2. Proven mechanical and electrical skills, with a deep understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and repairing techniques.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
4. Extensive experience with a variety of hand and power tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently and effectively.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
7. An ability to lift heavy objects when required.
