Position: Senior Documentum Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in OpenText Documentum and enterprise content management systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications, along with strong skills in API development, programming, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently manage tasks and priorities.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and troubleshoot Documentum applications, including Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
- Perform platform upgrades and migrations for Documentum systems.
- Implement REST APIs using the Spring Framework, preferably for Documentum or similar ECM platforms.
- Develop and maintain software using Java and Python, leveraging tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, and Tomcat/J2EE.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including unit testing, code coverage, and vulnerability management.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK to deploy and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Independently manage time, tasks, and priorities to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications.
- Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, object model, and security.
- 2+ years of experience implementing REST APIs using the Spring Framework.
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Python programming languages.
- Proficiency in tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, and relational databases.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS services, including troubleshooting deployments and analyzing logs.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and software development processes.
- Preferred certifications in AWS, Documentum, and Java.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay Range: $85.00 - $90.00
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
