Title                                      : Senior Mainframe Database Administrator

Rate                                      : $55/hr -  $62/hr

Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 8 +

·         Administer and support IBM DB2 databases on z/OS mainframe platforms

·         Manage and maintain IMS DBDC and/or ADABAS database environments

·         Implement and support data replication using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR)

·         Design, monitor, and tune database performance, including SQL optimization, partitioning, indexing, and data sharing

·         Support and integrate APIs using zConnect Enterprise Edition (zCEE)

·         Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution

·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and performance-related issues

·         Ensure compliance with data security standards and regulatory requirements

·         Work with JCL and mainframe operating system concepts for batch and operational processes

·         Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution

·         Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for software upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements

·         Support change management, incident management, and service level objectives

Must Skills:

·         DB2, IMS DBDC, and/or ADABAS

·         IBM DB2 administration on z/OS

·         IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR)

·         SQL, DB2 performance tuning, partitioning, indexing, and data sharing

·         mainframe operating systems and JCL
