Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic HB Revenue Cycle Analyst to support and optimize Epic HB applications. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle leaders to analyze workflows, design system solutions, and ensure Epic functionality aligns with business needs. The
ideal candidate brings deep Epic build experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Must be Epic HB Certified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for new and enhanced Epic functionality
  • Guide workflow design, system build, testing, and optimization of Epic applications
  • Serve as the primary support contact for Epic application end users
  • Identify and resolve application issues, including those impacting cross-functional teams
  • Perform in-depth analysis of current and future workflows, data collection, reporting, and technical issues related to Epic and integrated third-party systems
  • Partner with quality, operational, and business leaders to support quality, safety, financial, and efficiency goals
  • Collect, prioritize, and implement requirements for system enhancements or new implementations
  • Complete integrated testing across Epic environments to ensure changes meet business needs without adverse system impact
  • Troubleshoot and document root causes for issues of simple to moderate complexity
  • Maintain data integrity and system security for assigned applications
  • Develop system documentation and end-user communications for deployments, upgrades, and optimizations
  • Stay current with Epic releases and participate in upgrade planning and testing
  • Contribute to continuous performance improvement initiatives within the revenue cycle

Required Qualifications
  • Epic certification(s) required:
  • Resolute HB Administration
  • Resolute HB Claims & Remittance Administration and/or HB Contracts Certification
  • Missing certifications must be obtained within the first year
  • Minimum 3 years of Epic HB
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare or revenue cycle experience, including Epic build
  • Strong understanding of hospital billing, professional billing, and claims processing workflows
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into Epic billing solutions
  • Experience working with third-party vendors such as Experian, Assurance, Olive, Availity, and WayStar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in small groups under tight deadlines

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
