Job Description:

Position Overview

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within an AWS and Snowflake environment. Successful candidates will be highly independent, self-motivated problem solvers who can operate effectively in a fully remote environment and are interested in long-term career growth with the organization.

This role requires strong expertise in native Snowflake development, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to work within a regulated healthcare environment. Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) is highly preferred for at least one of the three positions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within Snowflake and AWS environments.
• Develop advanced SQL code to support data integration, transformation, and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain Snowflake database objects including:
  • Tables
  • Functions
  • Stored Procedures
  • Streams
  • Tasks
• Support data modeling, database development, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and identify solutions independently.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Data Integration & Platform Support

• Support data ingestion and extraction processes within the enterprise data ecosystem.
• Leverage native Snowflake functionality to streamline data processing and automation.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance within a Medicaid-focused environment.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work effectively in a fully remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Research complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver business requirements.
• Contribute to long-term data platform enhancements and modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• .
• No sponsorship required now or in the future.
• 5-8 years of professional experience preferred (minimum 4-6 years).
• Senior-level data engineering experience.
• Strong experience working within AWS cloud environments.
• Extensive Snowflake development experience.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Snowflake Streams
  • Snowflake Tasks
  • Stored Procedures
  • User-Defined Functions
  • Table creation and database development
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and successfully in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Experience supporting Medicaid or healthcare-related data initiatives.
• Experience working within regulated environments requiring strong data governance and compliance.
• At least one of the three hires should possess deep IDMC expertise to support enterprise data extraction processes.
