We are seeking a Lead Testing Analyst (Software Test Analyst 5) to support Vital Records and Public Health applications. The selected candidate will lead and coordinate all QA testing activities while working in an Agile environment.
The role involves managing test activities, mentoring test analysts, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with Business Analysts and project stakeholders. The Lead Testing Analyst will also be responsible for reporting, test planning, defect management, and automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate testing activities for multiple applications
Review and analyze requirements and design documents for testability
Prepare testing estimates for projects and maintenance activities
Develop test plans, test cases, and test artifacts
Execute and document functional, system integration, load, and role-based testing
Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution
Maintain test plans and artifacts in DevOps or relevant tools
Provide testing status updates and quality reports to management
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
Create automated test plans and scripts (preferably using Provar)
Perform maintenance of automated scripts
Setup authentication and authorization for load testing
Participate in Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and project meetings
Required Experience:
8+ years leading QA testing, functional testing, and system integration testing
8+ years coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
5+ years maintaining test logs, defect logs, and defect prioritization
5+ years mentoring and guiding QA team members
5+ years of experience with DevOps or similar tools for test management
3+ years of experience with automation tools such as Provar, Selenium, SmartBear, or related tools
Experience preparing test closure documents, metrics reporting, and transitioning projects to maintenance
Strong Agile methodology experience
