Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking
Mid-Level and Senior Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers to join our team in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The KC-135 is the mainstay of the USAF tanker fleet. To sustain this aging fleet for decades to come, this position will be involved in leading an effort to transform the maintenance plan using MSG-3 methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize mechanical systems expertise to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on KC-135 fleet availability.
Position Responsibilities:- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment
- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers
- Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
- Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems
- Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems
- Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts
- Works under general supervision
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level or Senior Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 5 or more years' related engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting aircraft systems
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft modifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Previous experience working with aircraft fuel systems
- Previous experience with project management
- 10 or more years' related engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master's degree
