We have an immediate opening for a Refrigeration Engineer with strong hands-on experience to support a long-term engagement with our client. Must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Role: Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Smithville, TN 37166 - Onsite

Duration: 12 months +

Years of experience: 6-10 Years of Experience

Skills & Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

Design and optimize evaporators, condensers, and compressors for high-efficiency cooling systems.

Should be familiar with AHAM and ASHRAE standards and principles.

Develop and refine thermal systems using advanced simulation tools (CFD, thermodynamic modeling).

Select appropriate refrigerants and materials based on performance, cost, and environmental impact.

Experience with Ammonia based refrigeration systems like Plate Freezers, Chillers, Cold Rooms, Flake Ice Machines, Etc.

2. System Testing & Validation:

Conduct prototype testing and analyze data to validate system performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to heat transfer efficiency, pressure drops, and refrigerant flow.

Collaborate with the mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system integration.

3. Innovation & Optimization:

Research and integrate the latest advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technology.

Optimize system designs for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, design calculations, and technical reports.

Present findings and design updates to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
