Microsoft 365 & Power Platform Solutions Architect

Position Summary:
The Senior Architect, Microsoft Services provides technical expertise and thought leadership for the Practice's Microsoft Cloud Services environment. This role leads technical, operational, cross-team integration, and discovery efforts for Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 product lines used throughout the Practice, including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Dynamics 365, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Copilot. The Senior Architect works within the IT team to manage and maintain the Practice's delivery strategy for its Microsoft 365 tenants and related technologies. The role also provides technical leadership to Platform Administrators, drives process excellence across project portfolios, and helps shape governance and technical strategies for the Practice's evolving use of nonclinical AI tools and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide services and systems expertise to support the Practice’s growing use of Microsoft tools.
• Advocate for adoption of Microsoft Cloud services where appropriate for the business.
• Design and deliver technical implementation and technology delivery strategies across Microsoft services.
• Collaborate actively in defining and building enterprise standards.
• Create technical documentation that outlines system architecture and implementation.
• Partner with colleagues to implement solutions across Microsoft applications and platforms.
• Define best practices and support policies for Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform.
• Stay current with related Microsoft technologies as they evolve.
• Maintain highly secure systems through proper configuration and system access monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated systems architecture issues.
• Deliver consistent processes for incident and problem escalation and resolution.
• Create and measure policies governing the proper use of Microsoft services.
• Travel as required for team meetings, conferences, and Practice events.

Professional Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of Microsoft Services administration experience.
• 6+ years of experience in a solutions architect or related business-facing role.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and on-premises Exchange.
• Expertise across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform service applications.
• Microsoft certifications within the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Windows Server platforms.
