Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports, backed by large-scale datasets hosted on Google BigQuery. This role requires strong data modeling, SQL optimization, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics and reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering roles

• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query

• Extensive experience working with Google BigQuery, including querying large datasets and performance optimization

• Strong experience writing and tuning complex SQL queries

• Experience with data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and semantic layer design

• Ability to translate business requirements into interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations

• Strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and reconciliation techniques

• Experience working across the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business users, analysts, and IT teams

• Ability to work independently while collaborating in an onsite, team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Power BI with Google Cloud Platform services beyond BigQuery

• Knowledge of ETL / ELT pipelines and data transformation best practices

• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses and large-scale analytics platforms

• Prior experience leading or mentoring junior BI developers

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
